He's Australia's (and the world's) most prolific Commonwealth Games medal winner, bagging 18 medals in total, including seven gold, over his six consecutive Commonwealth Games appearances.

The Australian Commonwealth Games Association says Phillip is, "The greatest Commonwealth Champion of any country in the history of the Games."
