Never to cold for a shoot

Bumper crowd today, even starting cold there were close to 30 people shooting, some beginners and some gun shots… (pun intended)..

We also found out that Farm Services in Windsor who currently have a gun shop selling long arms plans to sell Pistols – sure when they start but one day soon. They are at 89 Fairey Rd, South Windsor NSW 2756, phone 4577 4056) http://www.farmservices.com.au

Black Powder Pistols - may 2015

The Black Powder pistols were fantastic, the downside is the load time, the up side is the age, the 44cal loads, the lack of recoil and the fun they were to shot. As for accuracy, in five shots (dont ask) I got 4 x 10 and 1 x 9 at 25 yards so pretty dam good. Here are some more pictures...

Sunday 24th May, Black Powder

What do black powder, polenta, lead and vegetable oil all have in common?

Yes, they all get stuffed in a black powder pistol with a primer to fire them off. Very cool.

Sunday last shoot

Just the one photo from the shoot on the weekend... Despite the mud it was a fun day. Someone also brought in a FN57 to look at super interesting gun (here is a photo of one).
